Tempus Training is running a series of 5-day programmes with Derby College, including Remote & Hybrid working, Warehouse & Logistics and CSCS Entry to construction. All programmes are hosted online by a live tutor who will be guiding and supporting learners through the course, completing assessments and providing job application, advice and support.

Remote & Hybrid Working Programme

Our Remote & Hybrid programme equips participants for flexible work by providing training in home office setup, physical and mental well-being, developing customer service, and business administration skills. It offers exclusive job opportunities and application support, plus certifications in Equality & Diversity, Occupational Studies, and Stress Awareness, alongside practical job search assistance.

Warehouse & Logistics Programme

Our Warehouse & Logistics programme offers comprehensive training to become a Warehouse Operative, providing the knowledge, skills and resources to thrive in the logistics environment. This programme covers core skills including health & safety, manual handling equipment, inventory management, and teamwork, plus modules on Climate Change & Environmental Awareness and Stress Awareness & Mental Health.

CSCS Entry to Construction Programme (with a free CSCS Operative’s card)

Our CSCS Entry to construction programme online program helps participants get a free CSCS Card, essential for construction site access. It offers a supportive, classroom online environment with one-to-one tutor contact, preparing learners for a career in the high demand construction industry with plenty of opportunities for career growth.

All learners must live in Nottingham or Derbyshire and have the following documentation and ID listed below.

Eligibility

  • Aged 19+ (must be 19 years old by 31st August 2024)
  • 19-23 year old must hold a level 2 qualifications or 5 GCSE’s in any subjects (not required for 24 years +)
  • Received their first payment of Job seeker’s allowance or Universal Credit
  • Universal credit claim threshold – Single take home claim must be below £892.00
  • Universal credit claim threshold – Joint take home claim must be below £1.437.00
  • Lived in the UK or EU for the last 3 years or have refugee status
  • Must not be in any other funded education

Identification: (one of the following)

  • Birth or adoption certificate
  • In date passport
  • Full driving license
  • E-Visa
