Learn something new with Rutland Adult Learning and Skills Service (RALSS)
If you want to develop your English or maths, our First Steps, ESOL or Functional Skills courses can boost your skills and may even include a qualification. Our shorter ‘Multiply’ maths courses cover topics relevant to everyday life, such as budgeting, helping children with maths homework or cooking low-cost meals.
Our digital skills courses will improve your digital confidence and teach you how to access online services, communicate online, make documents, purchase goods and more.
You could also enhance your artistic skills with courses including pottery, creative writing, photography and watercolour painting, or learn how to speak Italian or Spanish in our language courses.
Our English, maths and digital skills courses are free for adults aged 19 and over who meet funding criteria. We offer discounts on our arts and languages course to adults on a low income and/or benefits.
We can also provide free support with creating or updating your CV, writing a cover letter, looking for jobs or finding the course that’s right for you.
